2 Posts in one day! I actually made something!!!

A friend of mine has recently opened her own scrapping/stamping company out of her home. All of our specialty scrap and stamp stores have closed in our town, this is really nice. She has a crop every month, for $5.00 you can enter the challenge of the month. YOu get a bag full of at least $7.50 worth of products, we have a month to make anything we want out of it, bring it back to next month's crop and pick a winner. It's neat to see what everyone has done with the same materials. This is the first month I entered. I did a layout of my daughter,Mom and I when we went on a trip to the Biltmore.

Today she had her "Falliday Open House" I actually made a card and tag! I'm getting there, back into the mode. She had some really great products. Hopefully I can make a card tomorrow with my new Magnolia stamps, I'm excited, my very first Magnolia's!!!

Wonderful Goodies from Wonderful Friends!

This week I received some great goodies. From my former summer sister Kimmie, I got a bootiful Halloween card with some cute pink stickers. (It't the pumpkim card). From my October Luckybug swap partner, Mae, I got a lovely covered journal with matching pen, some ribbon, some clips and some neat images, plus another really pretty Halloween card. I feel so greatful to have met such nice people on the web.
