Another set of stamps that I love are the Lockhart shoe stamps. They are so different.
I was kind feeling like decorating shoes today so I pulled out the Lockheart stamps. I used the shimmer chalk with sparkly glitter. I'm still having trouble with my phots being a bit blurry, someone let me know what I need to do. Thanks! Hope you like the shoes!
My daughters new dress, shoes and hair bow was the inspiration for the bella cards, I also wanted to do a new technique, paper piecing. Many of the bellaholics were very helpful in helping me find tutorials for this. It's not as hard as it looks. Its kind of like playing paper dolls. I think they turned out pretty good. My daughter even made one.
Sorry the cards are all spead out, I'm still learning! Have a great day
Here are some pictures I did at a recent workshop, with one stamp set. There is so many things you can do with one stamp set. I would like to try Dainty Bella with the Bride stamp somehow.
Anyway I still working on my paper piecing card with a Bella.
I'm have a scrapbook page workshop tonight with one card added. My friends and I like to get together and make something. I usually come up with it , set it up and they pay a fee to cover supplies and come and make. I'll post tomorrow what we do. It will be fun! Sorry some of my pictures are blurry, I still learning on my camera.
My son has had a full mouth of braces for 2 years. He finally got them off. Here is his million dollar (at least a couple of thousand dollar) smile. Off just in time for High School. Ninth grade here he comes! (He'll hate that I posted his picture, but he's really cute!) (of course I'm his mom)
These pictures are of my 12 pound Ragdoll cat, Mittens. He of course is very spoiled. He sleeps between my hubby and I (hubby is ok with this) and loves to get everyone up at 5:00 am by meowing loudly for 15 minutes or "making bisquits" in everyone's hair until we are up. He only eats Fancy Feast Alfredo with Garden Greens meals, unless he is in dire straits (when we run out), then he eats only Iams dry. He pretty much has the run of the house. He lets my daughter pick him up and hold him like a babydoll, and he lets her dress him up.
The little doggie you see is Mitten's friend Milo. Milo is a 6 month old "Shorkie". He is a sweety. He comes to stay with us when his mommy, (my bestest friend Penny) goes out of town. Mittens lets Milo entertain him, but refuses to play with him, he just likes to watch Milo entertain. Milo lets my daughter dress him up and even put him in a "webkins" purse.
Yes I'm weird, but I love my kittycat and his friends.
Here is a Teacher gift that my daughter gave her second grade teacher at the end of the year. She was a wonderful teacher, my son had her also. The box contains handmade cards, by my daughter and myself. We included a candle and matching bag. She loved it!
I can't believe that I have started a blog. I love looking at others creative and colorful blogs. I hope that I can figure out how to do it myself. Hopefully tomorrow I can post some of my newest "Bella" cards that I have made. I do love Bellas.
I have always loved France and the French language since I was in kindergarten and learned all of my numbers and colors in French. It was no suprise that I became a French teacher. I love everything that's vintage, pretty, girlie, frenchie, etc.
